Jason and Michéle were high school sweethearts. She is originally from a small town in the Free State and he just happened to be there on a sports tournament. She was at a restaurant for supper with her parentys when a brave teenage boy asked for her phone number.

While reading throuh Michéle's description of their wedding day, the one word that just jumped out at us was perfect! Starting at the ceremony, right through to the dances - just perfect!

We love the boldness of their navy and gold colour scheme, contrasted just right with the soft blush brought in by the gentle textured lisianthus and roses on the tables.
How did he propose?

Jason surprised me with a weekend away at Crawford's Cabins in Chintsa, but he tricked me and told me we had to go home for an emergency. He took me to a fairy tale like place on a farm called The Jungle and asked me to be his wife. It was perfect with the river running in the background, candles and champagne.
What was the theme of your wedding and why?

Navy and blush with a touch of gold. He wanted blue, I wanted pink and it was the perfect combination that was both modern and classic.
Tell us about your décor

My décor was simple and modern with a touch of gold. Glass vases and candles were used and my flowers brought everything together nicely. Everything was exactly as I wanted it.
What was the highlight of your day?

My whole day was a highlight. Everything was perfect. From the ceremony to the reception, the speeches, our dance. All perfect.
Tell us about your wedding entourage

My bridesmaids consisted of my four best friends, two from my home town, Danielle and Maryke. I grew up with Danielle, she is like a sister to me. Maryke and I have been friends since primary school. She was clearly the joker of the four and made everyone feel so comfortable. My other two bridesmaids were friends I've made since I moved to East London, Kelly and Jenize. Kelly and I worked together and my first job here in East London and Jenize and I also met at work and clicked when we realized we both love horses.

The groomsmen consisted of my brother, Henno and Jason's brother Cameron, as well as his two childhood friends, Wayde and Brendon. Jason, Brendon and Wayde have been friends since they can remember. They are inseperable.

How did you choose your dress?

I have a bit of a horror story when it comes to my dress. I had two dresses before, but they were disasters! Then I found my perfect dress at Lady Marmalaide here in East London. It was beautiful! A classic figure hugging dress with a unique lace open back.
